This page explains how to delete your GoXtra account and the data associated with it. GoXtra is operated by AORONYX GLOBAL LTD. Account deletion is available to everyone, whether or not you still have the app installed.
In Short: Delete your account in the app under Settings → Privacy → Delete Account, or email us at [email protected] if you no longer have the app. Deletion is permanent.
Option 1: Delete your account in the app
- Open the GoXtra app and sign in.
- Go to Profile → Settings → Privacy.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Your account is deleted immediately after confirmation.
Option 2: Request deletion without the app
If you have uninstalled GoXtra or cannot access the app, email us at [email protected] from the email address registered to your GoXtra account, with the subject line "Delete my account". We will verify the request and delete your account. We respond to deletion requests within 30 days, as required by applicable law.
What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes the personal data linked to it, including:
- Your profile (name, photos, bio, hobbies, and settings)
- Your posts, comments, events, and community memberships
- Your activities and activity data
- Your connections (buddies) and connection requests
- Your location data and location-sharing settings
- Identity-verification selfies, if any remain (these are in any case automatically deleted within 30 days of the verification decision)
What may be kept, and for how long
- Messages already delivered to other users may remain visible to those recipients as part of their own conversation history.
- Fraud-prevention, safety, and legal records (for example, moderation reports and enforcement records) may be retained where we have a legal obligation or a legitimate interest in preventing abuse, and are kept only as long as necessary for that purpose.
- Aggregated analytics that contain no personal identifiers are unaffected by deletion.
